When configuring the financial setup for your location, you can indicate whether or not users should be allowed to enter back
dates or future dates when entering dates on a disbursement check or receipt. When a user enters a check date, the system
performs a validation to determine if the date is appropriate.
To configure back and future dates:
|
1. |
Click Fees & Finances or Administration from the navigation menu. Click Configuration in the Financial Setup section, and then click Back/Future Date Configuration. |
|
2. |
If a user has the right to enter a past date on a receipt, type the number of days before the current date that are allowed. |
|
3. |
If a user has the right to enter a past or future date for a check, type the number of days that a user can back date and
future date checks. |
|
4. |
If a user has the right to enter a past date on an assessment charge, type the number of days before the current date that
are allowed. |
For example, if you enter 10 in the first field, a user will be able to enter a date 10 days before the current date on a receipt. If a user enters a
date that is outside the allowed time frame, a warning will be displayed.
