Administrative Ownership
The owner of a warrant can change over time, and new administrative owners may be entered. The administrative ownership history is maintained, and can be viewed from the Detail tab of the warrant record.
The View Administrative Ownership History dialog box lists all the administrative owners that have been added for the warrant. The ownership history records include the date of ownership transfer, the name of the judge, and the administrative owner or court.
A default administrative owner is inserted on the Detail tab in the following situations:
•  If the warrant is linked to a case, the court currently assigned to the case is automatically displayed as the administrative owner.
•  If the judge selected on the Detail tab is only associated with one court, that court is displayed as the administrative owner.
