Add a New Citation Fields – Charges Tab
Complete the following fields to add charge information to a citation.
Charges Tab Fields
| Field Name | Field Description |

| # | Indicate the number of the charge. |
| State Reporting Number | This field displays the state reporting number assigned to each charge. |
| Sequence | This field displays the state reporting number assigned to each charge. |
| Code | From the drop-down list, select the offense code. |
| Degree | From the drop-down list, select the degree of the offense. |
| Description | The description associated with the selected offense code displays; however, changes can be made to the description if needed. |
| Statute | When an offense code is set up through the Administration option, the corresponding statute number can be assigned. If a statute number is assigned to the selected offense code, that number automatically displays. A new statute number can be entered if needed. |
| GOC | Use the drop-down menu to select the appropriate general offense code. Click the arrow to view a list of codes, or press F4 to find a code. |
| Fine | If a default fine amount is associated with the selected offense code, that amount is automatically displayed.
Type the amount for a different fine amount if needed.
If you select a speeding charge, you are able to click
 after you complete the offense date to enter the speeding values and automatically calculate the fine amount.
