Action – Update Civil Paper Fields
The following fields are available when performing the Update Civil Papers action in List Manager.
Rules for Substitute Service Fields
This section allows you to add rules to the civil paper.
Civil Paper Status Fields
Field Name Field Description
Date Enter the date when the civil paper status was changed
Time Type the time when the civil paper status was changed.
Status From the drop-down list, select the new status. The base status of the status selected is displayed next to this field.
Location From the drop-down list, select the location at which the status was applied.
How Served If the Status field is set to Served, select the method of service from the drop-down list.
Agency If the Status field is set to Served, select the agency completing the service from the drop-down list.
Badge If the Status field is set to Served and the selected agency includes officers, type the badge number of the officer recording the incident or click Image to choose an officer from the list. When you choose an officer, his or her badge number displays in the Badge # field.
Comment Type notes or comments related to the record. Click Image for additional space. Click Image to check the spelling of the text entered.
